ABC Apple Letter Sort

We took the pre-primer words and sorted them by the first letter of each word. They loved doing this.

I have planned to do this at school too with the object boxes. Kids will sort all the objects based on their initial sounds. You can do 2 or more to increase complexity.

Apple Picking Sight Word Game

Makayla and Paige loved this game! They wanted to play it over and over again. The students pull out sight words and read them. If they read them correctly, they get to add it to their apple picking chart.

Once all the sight words are read, students will count their apples and find the correct number to place into their apple basket.
Once done, they write the words they read correctly. They tally red, yellow, and green apples. Also, write the numeral on the red, yellow, and green number line.

 Here is Makayla's completed paper.

Beginning of a new direction!

I am so excited to announce that I will begin creating lessons and tools for parents and teachers. My new adventure combines my love of teaching and technology. While this is a new road I have not explored before, I am eager and excited for the possibilities. My own kids and preschool students love them and so will yours!
